11/07/2013 1971 Chevrolet Corvette LS5, 454 matching numbers engine with Turbo hydramatic transmission. Engine runs very well (see video) and has excellent oil pressure while running. Vehicle came out of a drug seizure where agents were searching for illegal drugs in the dash of the car (probably where the dogs led them). Dash was dismantled and some of the tabs were broken that hold the different panels together. Hubcaps and wheels and taillight reflectors were removed in the search. Body is straight with a few knicks and scratches. Doors close very well and are even all the way around. Hood closes nicely and latches evenly across the top. A wheel was removed and looks as though the brakes were gone through with new brake lines and calipers and rotors. We have not tried to work with the brakes and the pedal goes to the floor. We don't think it would take much to get the brakes going again. T-tops are present and close well. Chassis and frame is very clean, this is a southern car and there is no rust on the frame or chassis. Here is a short video of the engine being revved.
